Electric preheaters
Electric preheaters for natural gas preheating in natural gas regulation stations of the EPA type have been supplied by our company since 1994 mainly for the Czech and Slovak markets.
The working fluid can be natural gas, natural gas and hydrogen mixture (H2 content is limited to 25% [volume]). Direct contact between gas and heating rods causes heat transmission.
The electric preheater is equipment group IIA acc. to EN IEC 60079-0 ed.5 and the preheater is intended for working in potentially explosive atmospheres, Zone 2 acc. to EN IEC 60079-10-1 ed.3. The preheater is certified by notified body acc. to Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX).
So far, our company has produced more than 1,600 pcs of EP-type electric gas preheaters with electric powers of 2, 6, 12 and 18 kW for nominal pressures of PN 40, PN 63 and PN 100 and operating flow rates from 45 to 520 m3/h.
We also supply electric nitrogen preheaters with 0.7 to 6 kW and a maximum operating pressure of 50 kPa, which are used in coking plants.
